Phase 4 Extremities - An Immersion Retreat

w/  Jessica Mark

Description

Phase 4 Structural work is the foundation of Ortho-Bionomy, giving it distinct clarity and form. It is also the most technical and precise of all the skills of this body of work. We are exploring new options of how to refine, practice, and gain a deeper understanding of the Phase 4 Extremity techniques through an immersion retreat experience. This retreat setting allows us to release distractions, enjoy building community together, and support a concentrated focus on the work.

This class covers the history, philosophy, principles, and methods of Ortho-Bionomy and provides an overview of the fundamental skills for working with the joints of the extremities through a structural lens. Learn to feel and understand the body’s self-corrective reflexes through hands-on practical techniques. Discover gentle releases to help widen communication in the body, increase range of motion, and support pain relief. This is an excellent class for all levels, from beginners to seasoned Practitioners.

Our rental lodge is located in the mountains of Black Mountain, NC, about a 20 minute drive from Asheville, NC. The grounds include a labyrinth, pond, and hiking trails. Rooms can be rented at single or double occupancy and each room includes its own private bathroom. Breakfast and lunch are on your own and dinner will be catered each evening. There is plenty of room to bring pantry or refrigerator items, and the kitchen is fully equipped with stoves, dishwashers, and all kitchen supplies.

Tuition includes the 16-hour Phase 4 Extremities class. Additional tuition for consultations and/or sessions are below. The study group price is included in the lodging and meals bundle.
