The Instructor Training Seminar (ITS) in the Instructor Training Program (ITP) is divided into 2 segments: ITS 1 and ITS 2. This 5 day seminar is the second part. The ITS is an important part of the educational process that prepares trainees to teach Ortho-Bionomy at the foundational level and to assume the many responsibilities of an instructor. Please note that in order to apply to this program, you must have completed ITS 1.

The ITP coursework curriculum consists of the following classes/topics:

16 How to Teach so Students Will Improve 

4-8 How to Supervise Trainees 

4-6 Society's Policies and Ethical Relationships 

Suggested Elective: Comparison of Ortho-Bionomy to Other Modalities 

Classroom observation and experience consists of Bench Assists, Co-Teaches and  Supervised Teaches. The following are the minimum required classes and units/hours  for each in the Instructor Training Program: 

Class Type # of Classes Hours

Bench Assist 6-12 (16 hours each)=96-192 

Co-Teach 3-6 (16 hours each) =48-96 

Supervised Teach 1-2 (16 hours each) =16-32 

One may bench one Phase 4 class (no presentations) prior to the ITS - Part 1.
